Bal Sagoth Review

Bal Sagoth

Bal Sagoth is another very unique band that is like none other. They've been dubbed the the kings of Barbarian metal. Okay so what is barbarian metal you ask? Picture yourself back in the ancient times when their was knights, castles, dragons, and wars were fought almost everytime. This is basically what Bal Sagoth is all about. Their music sounds like something you'd hear from a medieval movie. Amazing keyboards, and symphonic instrauments make this an amazing band to listen to. Plus when you mix it with the guitars & drums it makes a cool sound. Nothing to unique, but it's different with the approach they use. Heck these guys are so obsessed with ancient times that they go on stage with swords and armor on. They've even been featured in adds for Swords. Bal Sagoth is both beauty and horror. They use clean vocals, and more raspy vocals in their songs. Actually the clean vocals are more of the spoken type of vocal, but it's kinda the same. Still despite that hopefully it won't turn you away from them. The music is just incredible, and after all isn't that the most important thing afterall?
